A Confederacy of Dunces is one of my all-time favorite books! Why don’t you try some other hipster cities - Seattle, SF, Austin, Portland, Denver. You’ll have plenty of foodie options and things to do plus electricity lol
I'll be in Austin later this year! All other cities I've been to and liked -- but they just get too cold for me.... I might revisit some of them in the summer or fall :)

Haha if that’s the case then you won’t be satisfied with any other place besides SoCal, even Texas gets cold in winter!
